Sam graduated with a Masters in Social Work from the University of Central Florida with a focus in mental health and is currently a Registered Clinical Social Work Intern. She has experience in working within various settings in the social work field including the legal system, education system, and community-based programs.

 

She is passionate about advocacy and supporting clients as they embrace their authentic self in the world around them. She seeks to make counseling relatable through a person-centered approach and the belief that we are the experts of our own lives.

 

When working together, Sam will consider your interests, your environment, your identity, your history and the systems you are a part of. Her specialties include working with trauma, the LGBTQ+ community, neurodiversity, and gender diversity. In her free time, Sam enjoys painting, playing video games and Dungeons & Dragons, watching anime and Star Trek, reading comic books, and cooking.

Sam is contracted with Allies in Wellness and is currently available to see new clients. Sam accepts clients using Sunshine, BCBS / Florida Blue, United (Optum, Oscar, UBH, UMR), Cigna, Aetna, Aetna Better Health, and self-paying clients.
